Molly Knuth Media began in 2017 when a hobby became a side-hustle which evolved into a full-fledged, in-demand business.
In the summer of 2005 before her freshman year at the University of Northern Iowa, Molly and her high school friends stumbled upon a new web page called “Facebook” and set up their college accounts. In those days, Facebook was simple, limited only to college students from certain universities with limited functionality.
As the years passed, Molly kept finding ways for Facebook to assist in personal and professional goal achievement. From calling upon friends to donate used books to her classroom where she taught high school English, to organizing prayer circles for local families, to helping fundraise and campaign to build a new community daycare, Molly discovered that the social framework of Facebook and other social media platforms, was a powerful and largely-untapped marketing tool.
In early 2017, as a stay-at-home mom to four young children, Molly found that small businesses in her hometown were looking for just this type of direct-to-the-customer marketing that would yield usable consumer data and drive better advertising decision-making. Soon one business lead turned into three, and by the summer of 2017, Molly Knuth Media was handling several monthly-subscription social media management accounts as well as providing individual and small business coaching and consultation, video production and editing services, and blog copy writing for business websites. And in the ever-changing world of social media, the demand for a consultant who is well-versed and educated in this field is only growing each day.
“Social media marketing isn’t just a fad; it’s a tool that you and your business need to utilize to reach your desired clients and meet your goals. I am passionate about giving small, local businesses a voice in our closely-connected world, and I know that whether you are seeking education to manage your social on your own, or someone who can handle it all, Molly Knuth Media has what it takes to help you market your business in this day and age.”
